Brian was appointed a non-executive Director of Jarvis plc in October 2002, and is a member of the Audit Nomination and Renumeration Committees. He is a past President of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and has acted as Rail Adviser to N M Rothschild for international railway restructuring projects. He has previously held positions as Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Birmingham and Director of Engineering for London Underground Limited; from 1995 to 1999 he was the Director of Engineering and Production and a main Board member for at Railtrack plc. He is also non-executive Chairman of BRE plc, SIRA Ltd and Rail Personnel International (Hong Kong) |
